Fully entrenched for a postseason berth, a pair of American League West foes will do battle once again on Wednesday night as the Texas Rangers and Los Angeles Angels will square in an all-important contest that has the following betting lines from our best sportsbooks;
Best Rangers Lines: GTBets ML (+135) Spread +1.5

With a logjam of teams all still in the hunt for a wildcard spot in the American League, the Rangers (62-63) and Halos (65-61) will seek to stay relevant when both teams take to the diamond in Game 3 of this four-game set in which Texas took the first game followed by the Angels laying it on the Rangers on Tuesday with a 10-1 spanking.
Heading into Wednesday, Texas finds themselves 3 games back of the second and final wildcard spot which is held by the Minnesota Twins, whereas the Angels are a mere one-half game back of securing that spot; a spot in which they held for a period of time.
On Tuesday, it was future Hall-of-Famer Albert Pujols who helped lead the way with a three-run bomb to notch his 19th of the season and 610th of his career.
With the win, the Angels have captured 10 of their last 13 games but know they must continue to rack up the victories as they are locked in a dogfight.
As are the Rangers, and as they look to get back on track, they will hand the ball to right-hander Andrew Cashner, who at 7-9 with a 3.31 ERA will be facing the Angels for the first time since 2015. After a stretch of rough outings, Cashner has turned it around over his last seven games where he is 4-2 with a 2.38 ERA.
Los Angeles will counter with left-hander Andrew Heaney (0-0, 9.00 ERA), who will be making his second start of the season since coming back from Tommy John surgery. On the hill at home for the first time since April 5, 2016, Heaney will be looking for a better outing after allowing five runs through five innings against Baltimore his first time out.
We can expect a highly competitive game as the sense of urgency will be great here on out for both teams.
For sports betting purposes for our US players, GTBets is favoring LAA (-145 ML) over TEX with an over/under of 9.0 total game runs scored from MyBookie; a number I will play as I will favor the OVER of 9.0 runs as my best betting pick.
