After a dramatic Game 3 win that saw them trailing 2-1 heading into the third period, the Predators were able to flip the switch and come away with a 3-2 home victory to push them ahead 2-1 in this best-of-seven Western Conference Finals.

And for the Preds, it was beginning to feel like a game they couldn’t win as it was frustration after frustration outshooting the Ducks two-for-one but were unable to find the back of the net. However, feeding off their loud, boisterous fans, Nashville rallied behind goals by Filip Forsberg and Roman Josi, including the game winner to give them the upper-hand in this series.

Now, it will be Ducks who will need to find a way to turn this series around or face putting themselves on the brink of elimination; standing in their way, however, will be a Nashville team that has captured 10 straight home playoff wins dating back to April 25, 2016.

Anaheim goalie John Gibson was outstanding once again between the crease, but fell short behind the constant barrage of shots by the Predators.

For Nashville and their goalie Pekka Rinne, it was a great bounce back game after a rough outing in Game 2 in which he suffered the loss in a 5-3 road defeat back in Anaheim. Rinne stopped 19 of 20 shots in Game 3 and overall has allowed just seven goals on 174 shots in his six home playoff games.

The series will shift back to Anaheim on Saturday for Game 5.

Question is… will it be a “must-win” for the Ducks or a game in which they can put themselves in the driver’s seat? We will soon have our answer in what has been a well-played, exciting series so far. Taking a look at the sports betting lines for our US players, MyBookie is favoring NAS (-150 ML) over ANA with an over/under of 5.0 total game goals scored.

Expecting another tight game, I will favor the UNDER of 5.0 total game goals scored as my best betting pick for Game 4.
