Best Warriors Lines: 5Dimes Spread (-6) ML -240
Best Bucks Lines: MyBookie Spread (+6) ML +200
Over/Under: BetOnline 223.5
Meeting for the first time this season, Golden State with a 33-9 record will square off against the 22-18 Bucks in a nationally televised matchup that should bring plenty of entertainment value, however, the Warriors may be without the services of their MVP in Stephen Curry.
Curry sprained his right ankle in a team shootaround session on Wednesday; an injury that caused him to sit out the Warriors contest versus the Los Angeles. Without their mega-superstar, Golden State was blown out of the building in a 125-106 defeat. Klay Thompson was also out of action as it was a scheduled rest day.
Listed as questionable for Friday, it remains to be seen if Curry is a go as the Warriors will be in the first of back-to-back games; Friday in Milwaukee, followed by Saturday in Toronto.
The nice thing for the Warriors is that there is no sense of urgency on their part as they are 13 games up on the Clippers in the Pacific Division standings.
For the Bucks, the Warriors matchup will be a good measuring stick as they are 12-5 versus the Western Conference and 4-0 against the Pacific Division.
Currently 3 ½ games back of the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Central Division, the Bucks behind their MVP in Giannis Antetokounmpo hope that a solid showing against the Warriors can really get them going in the East.
However, if the Bucks want to pull out a victory versus the powerful Warriors, they will need to find a way to put the ball in the hole from beyond the 3-point arc where over their last three games are just 26.5 percent.
It’s been all Golden State against the Bucks where they have captured three consecutive and seven over the last eight. For sports betting purposes for our US players, 5Dimes is favoring GS (-6) points over MIL with an over/under of 223.5 total game points scored from BetOnline.
Let’s take a wait and see approach for this matchup on the status of Curry before deciding the best betting pick.
