Meeting for the second time this season, the Bucks at 4-5 and Cavaliers at 4-6 head into this contest having seen better days where early on the season have been in a struggle for consistent winning basketball.

Milwaukee has lost four of five, including three straight, while the Cavs have dropped four of five, And, with these records, the Bucks find themselves 2 ½ games back of the Detroit Pistons, whereas the Cavs are three games back.

The first time around back in Milwaukee, it was LeBron James and company who got the better of the Bucks with a 116-97 beating.

Cleveland has struggled at home where they have lost four of six making this matchup all the more important as the Cavs will set out on a four-game trip immediately after.

For Milwaukee, they will once again be without 6-foot-11 center Greg Monroe, who is dealing with a left calf strain. Monroe has missed the last four games.

One bright spot for the Bucks is MVP candidate Giannis the “Greek Freak” Antetokounmpo who leads the NBA in scoring with 31.0 points per game. In his last time out against the Cavs in the loss, Antetokounmpo went for 34 points with eight boards and eight assists.

James is third in the league in scoring with 28.8 points per game while shooting a career-high 60.8 percent from the field.

These two division rivals will meet two more times with a meeting in Milwaukee in December followed by a final regular-season go-round in Cleveland in March.

With Monroe out of the lineup, it should open up the floor for Cleveland big-man Kevin Love, who is still looking to regain his shooting touch, but we shall see. For sports betting purposes for our US players, MyBookie is favoring CLE (-4) points over MIL with an over/under of 220.0 total game points scored from BetOnline.

Feeling Cleveland will finally get it together, I will favor the Cavs MINUS the points (-4) over Milwaukee for the win as my best betting pick.
